Seems a strange one to me this.

I'd be expecting £7-8million minimum for Tina, and i'd expect an immediate matching off Villa's bid..

Onouha on loan to cover the sale, mebs?

If we can get that kind of money for him, why are we not looking at the likes of Samba, as everything has gone quiet on him lately.

True enough, Samba remains THE textbook CB signing for us.

Are we trying to free up wages for something (there's still nothing anywhere i can find on this anyway..).

when Turner made his return from injury last season he looked a shadow of his former self, and I have seen nothing so far this season that suggest things have improved...This could turn out to be a master stroke by SAFC if it's true..
 
We'll see a fair profit on him, i'd imagine, and for a bloke that (despite being undoubtedly wholehearted, and a real 'effort' defender) can't pass the ball along the deck, that will be a good move for us.

He's as slow running as claggy custard. Reprieve for Ferdinand. O'Shea and Brown fit in, Titus about back and the young lad Lane getting run outs?

Maybe £5m for Turner. £5m from Celtic for Gordon?

Chops a fair bit off the wages too I imagine.

There's talk of the Defoe fee being as low as £6million Cest. £6million!

I wonder though, did he say 'don't fancy Newcastle' or did he say 'don't fancy the north east'.

If it was the former, he could sign as an instant hero, especially if flash is sold!
