Interesting point in this article that Stephen Ireland is potentially leaving for the Arab Springs and another Spanish midfielder replacing him.
 
I always thought MH rated Ireland and from what I have seen of him, albeit on TV, he looks quite a good performer.

Question...do we REALLY need another, Spanish midfield player??? Unless of course it is Isco or Rodriguez (sp)
 
I think it's more to do with the fact that we have a lot of players who are aging.

Stoke academy midfielder Ollie Shenton has signed a new four-and-a-half year deal at the club.
The highly-rated 17-year-old was the youngest player to appear for the Potters in the Premier League after coming on as a substitute against Man City last February.
 
A actual academy prospect !!!!
