never in a million years did I think that we would be close to signing a player of this quality, this shows how far we have come. Brilliant news if we can get this deal over the line

Believe this or not, I have seen the only two players I have EVER wanted to see in our shirt...Sir Stanley Matthews and Sir James Greenhoff.

Am I the only one who is not entirely convinced that everything about Shaqiri is kosher ?
I am cursed with being "the rain on your parade" and the epitome of " party pooper ". And this is because I was wondering why it took so long to sign him. All the stalling , prevaricating came from Inter/Shaqiri. And the thought came to me " did they need time to get him just fit enough to get him through a medical without some long-term problem being detected " ?
But , dear Stokies , don't let me spoil your day with this , it is only football , and there are more serious matters to worry about for many of us.
