@StokeLoudProud: We've been told Stoke will try to make Victor Moses loan move in to a permanent one in January Stoke will also try sign Aaron Lennon again.
Reading between the lines I think Mr. Moses regards Stoke only as a stepping stone on his road to recovery to the big-time. For me , he has done enough to show why Stoke would want him , most teams would want him , I want him , I hope he can be persuaded to stay.
Aaron Lennon , is he out injured or just not good enough for Spurs ?
Moses? Said only last month my future lies at Chelsea. So, I mailed an ex work colleague a Chelsea fan. He told me. They don't rate Moses, he will never get into the team so who knows. He would be a great signing IMO and I also think Hughes has more pulling power with player's than T.P. He tried and failed numerous times.
Lennon? Not too sure he would move up from London but would be brilliant here at Stoke. I guess we will find out in Jan. Any chance that Wigan player is still available Nicky!
If we could leave our Christmas Stocking hanging up until January who will we find in it ? By the looks of it , it can only be someone on a free or a loan - and I think we would have to let one of our present loanees leave first.
I suspect our finances are being controlled by George Osborne aided by I. Duncan-Smith.
I think your right KKB, its going to be a tight window. We have a few players that are out of contract in the Summer or are entering their final year so I would imagine there could be a few key decisions to be made. I'm not sure if we will try and sign Moses beyond his loan, he doesn't seem that keen on staying here full time and I don't think he's done enough (as much to do with his injury) for us to try. Assaidi hasn't had much of a look in and Arnie has been very hit and miss, so I can see the wing area being a priority. Crouch is in his final year and although Walters has hit a bit of form he will only ever be a rotation squad player. We also need to decide on Huth who is nearing the end of his contract - to lose him on a free would be criminal!
