Stoke City manager Mark Hughes says that he hopes to sign defender Philipp Wollscheid on loan from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen for the rest of the season.
 
VICTOR Moses and new signing Philipp Wollscheid should both be in training when Stoke's first-team squad reports back from a mini two-day break tomorrow morning.

Moses has been out with a thigh injury since November 22 was forced to return to parent club Chelsea for treatment.


“He’s ready to start training now, so we expect him to be in the training ground,” said assistant boss Mark Bowen.

“We will have to assess how far down the line he is as to whether he’s on the bench or starting games.
