Make that £7 million! 13:22 Wigan winger Yanic Wildschut is on his way to Norwich after the Latics accepted a £7m bid. Wildschut, who has only been at Wigan a year, handed in a transfer request last night. He's heading to Carrow Road for a medical. Posted at13:24 On the subject of Wildschut, he joined Wigan from Middlesbrough. The live text desk is manned by a Boro fan. His description of Wildschut cannot be printed...
Let's hope he is as good as his word. Could turn out to be a brilliant signing, if he gets his head straight.
Read this on the beeb site.... Steven Flynn, barrister at St Johns Buildings: “Permanent transfers at the elite level of the game are very complex, involving at least three separate negotiations taking place concurrently. While there are obviously discussions between the selling club and the buying club, the buying club also must negotiate with the player’s agent regarding both the player’s personal terms, as well as the agent’s commission for the transfer. “Issues surrounding image rights agreements, agency fees and transfer fee payment schedules delay completion of such deals more than anything in the Fifa regulations. As such, negotiating the purchase of a player like Paul Pogba would normally begin between six months and a year before the transfer takes place, meaning that planning is of the utmost importance." Now is it just me but has that barrister basically described the thing known as "tapping up" in the bit I've highlighted? I thought that was illegal, must be only for the lower league sides but is ok in to flight!!!!!

Desperate to play for Holloway? I hope so and that he's changed for the better. I hope he does well for us. QPR agree loan deal with Lazio for Ravel Morrison with midfielder desperate to play for Ian Holloway The agreement in place will see Ravel Morrison move to West London on loan There is an option for a permanent transfer come the end of the season Morrison and Queens Park Rangers must now settle a wage agreement By Sami Mokbel for MailOnline PUBLISHED: 13:08, 31 January 2017 | UPDATED: 13:08, 31 January 2017 Queens Park Rangers and Lazio have agreed a deal for Ravel Morrison to move to Loftus Road. The agreement in place will see Morrison move to west London on loan with an option for a permanent transfer at the end of the season. Morrison and Rangers must now settle a wage agreement for the former West Ham and Manchester United. Morrison has been a target for a number of Championship clubs - but is desperate to play for Ian Holloway. Morrison underwent a fitness test at QPR’s training complex last week and Holloway is convinced the forward can go straight into his team. The 23-year-old midfielder had recently spent a spell training with Wigan, but the Latics were unable to clinch a deal. The former England Under 21 star left English football in the summer of 2015, leaving for Lazio in a bid to reinvigorate his career. However, Morrison, who was hailed as one of the most gifted players of his generation when he first broke through as a teenager at Manchester United, will now looking to restart his career with QPR, who currently sit 17th in the Championship. Exclusive: QPR and Reading both keen on MLS player By Lucas Sposito - 31st January 2017 Championship sides Queens Park Rangers and Reading are both keen on Philadelphia Union midfielder Ronald Alberg, Sport Witness have learned. The Dutchman, who joined the MLS side in February 2016, has had a very good season for the club, having scored eleven goals, plus adding an assist, during the 2016 season. Wearing Union’s number 10, Alberg is considered one of the most important players in the squad and his immediate success attracted the interest of clubs from abroad. Speaking to Sport Witness, Alberg’s agent Justin Stone said: “I can confirm Rizespor interest as well as links to QPR, Reading and Darmstadt.” Philadelphia Union sports director Earnie Stewart is well known for working on the best deals for the club, and after signing the player from ADO Den Haag for free last year, he certainly won’t sell him on the cheap now. As the player’s contract with Union runs until 2018, it’s believed Alberg would cost QPR or Reading around US$2m (£1.6m).
Ravel Morrison loan move to QPR from Lazio is not going to happen unless he drops wage demands From sky- bloody wages! Makes me question attitude now!
Haha! Nope, poorly phrased with work time limits! Hoped he may have turned it around and could do something for us, looks more like same old!
I guess the dispute is between us and Lazio over how much we contribute. If he costs us nothing it will just about be worth it.
