You never see Sams praising one of our Academy players - ever.

And yet every player we sign , regardless of what he does, is by Sams-default “a very good player …fans are idiots”
Blackett-Taylor and Dobson he 'dislikes', but of course braindead adopted the opinion just to go contrary to the popular view.

A very sad individual.

@Dick Plumb1

Am I correct in saying that we don’t have an “under 23 team” ?

Ronnie / BB is seeking to justify his stupidity by claiming Kanu can’t even get in our U23 side :emoticon-0113-sleep:emoticon-0113-sleep

Judging by the squad line up today -
Edmonds Green, Taylor, Watson, Edun and possibly A .Campbell are all surplus to requirements, quite an achievement in such a bad side. Let’s hope we kept the receipt for Ahadme as well.

When you add in the three charity cases Potts, Hylton and Aneke, you can easily make the case for 33% of our squad being moved on in January.

All bar Aneke were signed on Andy Scott’s watch ….Chuks was a Steve Gallen Special.

Quite an achievement to be such a staggering failure, yet still get a very healthy payslip.

It's deja vu all over again.

It seems Nathan Jones' priority for signing players is "the way they are around the place" <doh>

Never mind whether they can play football.
If they're good lads in the dressing room then the gaffer is happy :emoticon-0157-sun:

We have got Rotherham, Bolton, Shrewsbury & Bristol Rovers coming up in the league in January.

If we were buying new players to mount a promotion push (<laugh>), you’d think we would be doing our business early. There’s little point leaving things to the final day.

In truth, we are potless.

We have more dead wood than Sycamore Gap.

It'll take weeks to ship any of that out, and replace it with crocks who haven't kicked a ball since April.

Our record in January transfer windows is so poor over the years that we have often come out weaker than we went in, so I follow the old adage "Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed". We'll see, but Potts and A Campbell need to be removed from the wage bill, Jones and Leaburn need to be kept at all cost, and NJ has to decide if he has any use for Kanu and Asiimwe. If not send the out on loan. Obviously an attacking mid is needed but I don't agree that a goalie is a priority. AM-B has been good since he got rid of his mask.

I think Charlton have gained fewer points in the second half of seasons than in the first half 8 or 9 times in the last dozen years.
That is the trend Jones has to buck.
I won't be putting any money on it.

It’s difficult to understand why we are wasting £600,000 on the salaries of two Luton has beens who don’t play.

Nathan Jones says it’s because they are good for the mood within the camp.

I can play the squad “My Old Man’s A Dustman” on a ukulele, does that qualify me for £300,000 too ?

Or send Elfs wearing his purple number into the dressing room , that’ll lift the spirits
