From Dubai Gilbert is the one they want, and been holding out for all window, it has been down to Boro to get a replacement in, but I think now as we get to the end of the window, the player is pushing. personally I think would be great signing. It might be a loan to start with, but will look to make perm in summer if they can’t get a perm now!

But it's already within a gnat's chuff of being a Championship squad according to Sir Nathan. We don't deserve such a great squad as it is now.
A couple of the club’s well known serial brown nosers are rolling the pitch over on CL , for an anti climatic end to the transfer window tomorrow.
Gilbert again, here's a SLP link... https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/spor...-deal-for-middlesbrough-attacking-midfielder/
It can’t be a coincidence IMO that Methven’s handful of forum messengers have piped up in support of this obscure loan deal today. All three of them have not got the faintest idea whether he’s a good player or not, how could they ? I reckon Methven has been busy on the e mails. #PrawnsGloriousPrawns
Yes I believe that is true. I can’t say I have ever seen him play. I know it is a radical idea, but I will pass judgment on him after watching him a few times.
You say that every transfer window , tbf … I prefer to go by the track record of those actually doing the signing …all very bad judges. I’m just not interested in us signing cheap kids who have hardly ever played on loan from other clubs. We should be aiming much, much higher.
This. Rocket Ronnie and Charlie Kirk and Marcus Maddison were supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread, and Josh Edwards was only from Dunfermline. I'll wait until I see him, but if he hasn't been scouted and turns out to be another dud questions will be asked in the house, and order papers waved.
