Parker has left Fulham, will make a deal for Johanson difficult,nothing will happen until the next loser takes over
Depends whether they want a bit of cash for him, with only 12 months left on his contract.
However he may feel more amenable to staying with a different manager and prepared to accept an extension to his contract.
So what I’m basically saying is … yeh you’re right it’s going to hang out. Will we be prepared to wait that long though?
Disappointing if he did feel that way. No point kissing our badge and telling everyone that you want to sign for us to play regular first team football in a side with potential if you'd rather stay put, flip a coin and see if the grass at the Cottage really is greener under a new man.
If I were in his shoes I would wait to to see what is going to happen at Fulham. i know i am wanted at QPR and they are a project that is gearing up for a promotion push but if Fulham employ someone that wants me and offers more cash......
We are all human and have careers and families to consider.
If I was him I'd sign for QPR because I would achieve a lifetime ambition of playing for the club I have supported all my life. Might mean you could offer me a small wage but I would be at a club where I would be happy and that would allow me to perform.
I hope Johansen buys into the next chapters at QPR because I am sure it is a journey I would want to experience myself and not just read about when we start to show our class and reach for the top

At least he won't be going to Bournemouth who I have to say I'm surprised they signed Parker. He was ok but hasn't really proved himself yet and I dare say is expensive for a young manager. As they did so early in the summer it will be interesting to see how they do next year. No pressure there then!
Blackburn have joined the hunt for Johansen. If Fulham decide he can go you'd have to think we have the strongest hand unless Blackburn offer more dosh. I thought I read he wants to stay in London though.
The article I read said Blackburn are under transfer sanctions.

I suspect we are going to sign Windass because we cannot have Johansen. Really can’t see the budget stretching to both when we still need a full back or two.
If we're going to pick someone out of the Sheff Weds squad, I wouldn't mind seeing Barry Bannan coming over - he was quality when we played them last season
