Like many others, that deal in particular would make me feel extremely positive for the season ahead, especially knowing that he really wants to play for us.
After that, I'd be sure we could fill any other gaps in the squad with players who would want to join a good, in form team.

It’s pleasing if players come to us because of the environment/culture, not just the cash. Although let’s be realistic, they want to be paid as much as possible.
Without knowing full odds on Charlie deal, I’m sure there was enough in there to keep Bianca happy and feather Charlie’s nest for media work and sundries.
Hopefully, Stefan can see the benefit in playing where he’s valued and wanted, and take enough coin to satisfy himself and not destroy our balance. A lot of work has gone into getting us to where we are right now… dare I say it, a sensibly run club.

I hope the fact we didn't want Macauley Bonne included in a swap deal will give him a but of a confidence boost. I've had my doubts but the lad does need games.
Wouldn't it be nice if we went through a whole season without a single incoming loan? That would be a nice sign that we're progressing in the right direction.

Yes. In an ideal world, we'd get a LB/LWB to compete with Wallace, and 2 RBs/RWBs.
Uncle Albert is likely leaving, isn't he? I personally feel Albert is a good player for us, but offers almost nothing defensively.
Someone posted earlier on here a tweet from Uncle Albert said it was all made up that he was consider leaving.
I think he is very valuable to us....As an impact sub he will make a real difference (like against watford last year).

I'd love him to stay and would not mind him starting regularly, as a direct replacement for the loss of Bright OS.
I hoping we get in a permanent RB / RWB.
If we do, I'd be happy with Wallace and new RWB as starters and then Kakay and Nico as cover.
I suppose Niko and Osman are not bad covers. But I'm thinking of injuries, which we always seem to suffer from. In that light, I'd rather better backup options.
Imagine being stuck with Hamalainen and Kakay for half a season due to injury!

West London Sport are reporting that QPR could be interested in signing Brentford's Emiliano Marcondes after being released by Brentford.
I love better back ups there too, but just trying to keep my expectations realistic.
Osman has a bit about him but Niko I'm not sure he's cut out for this level.
Incoming signing, not the one we've all been waiting for but still. Are we doing our old thing of collecting midfielders?

Parker leaving Fulham, another possible spanner in the works re Johansen. I'm getting less confident of this one by the day.
