I honestly hope SG was not talking the club up.
It'll be a disaster if we end up without buying a goalscorer or creative midfielders /central defenders.
My first game is Sheff Utd in Sept 9th and I hope Watmore is playing or in squad :emoticon-0148-yes:

I would tell rodwell to go play with the traffic. He is finished in football.

We sign some prick on loan and that's it.

Can anyone remember previous deadline days when we were led to believe some business would be done before the window closes and the next thing we hear is that we've signed nobody.
The deals we had lined up just didn't happen.

About this time of year we get people on here saying they will wait to see who comes in before the window closes and then they will give their views on how we will do for the season.
A sensible way to think but usually we get disappointed as nobody comes in and all we get are excuses.

We probably will get rid of some of our best players though, probably on loan.

Unless Short digs deep for another half million I can't see anyone coming.
I don't want Rhodes but luckily he's well out of our budget. Reminds me of Jon Stead.

Let's hope all this proves to be Sod's law and we sign about thirty millions worth of talent and get about four top class loans in.
