I agree, but the problem with HAIG though is that he can't take the banter back. Instead he throws his toys out of the pram and starts accusing people of bullying him and being nasty to him, complains to the mods and tries to get people banned. Complete double standards.
There was an infamous thread on the spuds board where he was ****e talking about Arsenal 'sliding down the table' the 'North London power shift TM' etc , presumably for banter (although I'm pretty sure he believed most of the crap initially) when it inevitably came back to bite him on the arse and people gave him a taste of his own medicine - he had one the biggest hissy fit ever witnessed on not606.
If you can't take it, then don't dish it.
And if you want to dish it, then you lose your right to complain when it's thrown back at you

I've been happily engaged in banter with intelligent posters on this site since the day it opened its doors.
Note my use of the word intelligent, PESKIE. One measure of intelligence is wit, the ability of one to recognise it in others and the ability to engage in it, oneself. You possess neither ability, and it is, therefore, hardly surprising that we clash. You do not engage in banter with anyone; instead, you enter into a nasty, juvenile, and vindictive campaign of cyber-bullying, that is as pathetic as it is dull. I "threw my toys out of my pram" (as you put it) with you only on the Spurs board, and that was because I felt that the Spurs mods ought to have banned you for your constant stalking of me on that board (and others) and your determination to drag every thread on our board down into the depths of base tribalism and simple banality with your repetitive and persistent attack on me. Whilst our mods stopped short of banning you (which gives us all an indication of just how tolerant our board is of outside wumsters), they did make it very clear to you that unless you moderated your behaviour a ban would ensue, and you have checked your behaviour in accordance with that threat. I am not satisfied with that outcome, but I will learn to live with it, for now.
Of course, I still have to face your constant and continued stalking of me on other boards, as it would appear that other mods are happy to put up with your banality and personal vendetta, even to the point where it clearly frustrates and infuriates resident posters. The choice is mine to either rise to you (and to permit you to drag me to your depths), or to let you get on with it in order to enjoy banter and discussion with those adult and intelligent enough to engage with me on that basis, and I will continue to do my best not to rise to you.
Might I humbly suggest that if I write anything that would otherwise cause you to make a personal attack on me that, instead of doing that, you simply ignore me? Casual observers will note, for example, that I engage in argument with you only after you have made another of your attacks on me, and even then my argument with you is simply to implore you to "give it a rest," something that you appear unable or unwilling to do.

Good question which can be answered quite simply. Banter is one thing and when executed correctly it is harmless fun. Some like 'sandy pit' here cannot take it back then sets out to disrupt hence twice banned before.
This forum fortunately has had few arseholes ruining others boards and most have been excluded. People like Herbert, Sisu, Matth & KPR are perfect examples of these types and seek only to spoil. Alas we have just one very small item outstanding which has yet to be dealt with but don't envisage waiting too much longer.

Im not convinced the WUMMING wont restart once the season kicks off, especially if Spurs start well, we may start getting Juggernaut threads popping up, but until then lets just let bygones be bygones.
