Chelsea are lining up a transfer offer for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, according to reports in Italy. Just thinking about possible transfers and thought of a couple of possible options: - Instead of silly money for someone like Lukaku, what about Berahinho? Looks like he could go for around 12-15 million as in his final year, young, English, lots of potential. Decent back up for Costa and with something to prove? Hamsik to play alongside Matic? Guy has been class in the Euros and someone we have been linked with before. He can control a midfield but would add more energy and steel than say Fabregas does in that position. He's nearly 29 which is a downside, not sure what his contract situation is. But, surely he needs to move to a bigger club now why he still has the chance to win some major trophies?
I've been thinking about us signing Bera too. Would like to see someone younger th a Hamsik though. One of our youngsters maybe?
@PISKIE would love that, as it would get him out of a bit of a pickle. On a hot-potato thread that I started last season, Pixie rather rashly stated that Berahino would either stay at Brom or go to a "big club" (his words, not mine). Now, he's being linked to West Ham, and Pixie is going to have his ill-advised wummery come right back to bite him on his arse! If Berahino ends up at Chelsea, that will save Pixie's bacon. Can't see it happening, though. I think your new manager will want better quality than that.
Predictably, HIAG has has made a bellend of himself on his thread. First he claimed that I said Berahinho would definitely sign a new contract with WBA, then he claimed I said he'd definitely leave for a big club, finally he's settled on either he'll stay or leave. This of course, on the back of the thread he wrote claiming that Berahino would go on strike and force a move to Spurs, who would 'compensate him for his direct action'. He's even got a poll to choose how much Spurs should pay for him
