Gary, I think you are being overly optimistic, there, pal. Even Fergie - the greatest manager the world has ever seen - has said that Poch is the best manager in the Prem.

If you thought he ever consider leaving the Spur-project for your failing club, you'd be rubbing your wart-ridden todger into a frenzy thinking you could get him.

Ain't gonna happen, mate.

HIAG don't tempt fate - will be comical

Then, what have I lost?

If Spurs finish inside the top 4, we've done better than our own expectations, let alone you wums who have us down as perennial failures. Finishing anything above 4th - for the first time in our history - will be a bonus.

Fcuk me! winning the title would be something that I never thought I would ever witness in my lifetime!

No point wumming, CandyMan, unless we finish outside the top 4.

The only one you may fail to achieve is the one in bold.
You shouldn't finish outside the top 4 at this stage, and there is no chance of us catching you, unless we win all our remaining games and Spurs have a complete Deltmown!

Agreed, Bodi.

Us winning the title would, as it would for the Leicester fans, put us in Wonderland!

2nd time in a decade.
They finished above us in 2012, but we made up for that by becoming Champions of Europe and stopping them getting entry into the CL :p
Lol how could i forget that fact! Probably down to jubilation of winning and screwing the spuds at the same time. <laugh>

Prenninial failure is the correct terminology for a club who last won a title long before all of us were born.

What do you have to lose? Face as per..

True, Gary, but you're forgetting the fact that, this season, you are ****e, and we are not.

Fergie the best manager the world as ever seen? Is that an Hiagism for twat?
Fergie never tested jimself abroad like all the greats and preferred the comfort of having unrivelled funds. A big fish in a small pool.

Serious question, Gary...

Do you regret not exploiting your club's academy and getting in a manger who knows the value of exploiting the assets that you have at your fingertips?

Also, do you agree with me that going for the short-term option that was The Smug One, was a massive mistake and one that will end up costing your club untold £millions trying to play catch-up with clubs like Spurs and Leicester that have gone for a more traditional let's-build-from-what-we-have-rather-than-try-to-buy-glory approach?

Fergie never tested jimself abroad...

Why did he need to?

He did something that is far more difficult - he won multiple honours with the same club over two decades, building at least two completely different title-winning sides, proving that you don't need to move to two-club-leagues in order to win glory.

The problem with the likes of Klopp, Pep, and The ****ish One is that they win their honours in leagues that are, effectively, two-horse races.

It would be like putting Moyes in charge of Celtic for 5 years, and then claiming that Moyes is a world class manager because he got Celtic into the CL for 5 solid years.

Do you see where I am going with this?

This is what i always used to say before we won the title. I never thought I would live to see it, so anything that comes is a bonus.

No i dont know where youre going? Most of those titles were bought at great expense when the prem was in reailty a two horse race.

Great managers win things with multiple clubs like Pep, Jose, Ancelotti etc.

I love how you disposed former "top 4" clubs are still talking about how you are going to buy glory, whereas us actually-going-about-the-business-of-winning-the-league clubs are building from our own youth.

Good luck with that expensive, out-dated, mercenary model.
<ok>

I fully expect this to be the exception rather than the rule this year. Fair play to Spurs and Leicester but normality will resume next season when City, United etc throw another 100-200 million to win it.

You better hope you win it this year cos it could be another 50 year wait if you don't....:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Leicester, yes.

But not so with us. We've been knocking on the door for a long while, now, so it can be no surprise that we're up there. Personally, I didn't think we'd be challenging for at least two years after we'd built our new stadium, but it's good to see that Levy thought otherwise.

Get used to this, lads. Spurs are here to stay.
