Only one will be permitted though, no club can loan two players from the same Premier League club.

A lot of rumours stating Petr Cech could be heading for the exit door this summer with PSG and Spurs (If Lloris joins PSG) in the running for him.

One part of me wants Petr nowhere near Spurs, but another part, if he was to move on from us, wants him to break the PL clean sheets record.

Tough choice but unless Spurs give us 15m plus, no dice.

Apparently in the last few hours we've enquired about Fabregas. Would love that to come off, exactly what we need.

If Fabregas is genuinely available for circa 30 million, I expect every top P.L club to be interested. Fabulous player and P.L proven. Ironically the team who probably need him the least is Arsenal (and maybe City but that's never stopped them before!).

A couple of the papers have picked up on a MARCA story that us and United will battle it out for him for around 30 million.

It's on twitter from one of the "ITK's". He's usually pretty good and he gets a hell of a lot more right than he does wrong. Some of the deals he reports before the main sources, SSN, BBC etc. Doesn't get them all right though but i do like to keep track!

Agree, although i think a three man midfield of Ramsey, Fabregas and a proper holding midfielder (not Arteta) could be pretty formidable. Hoping he doesn't go to City as it will only make them even stronger.

I saw Guillem Balague tweet earlier that Barca are selling Cesc because they want to buy Koke. It's also done the rounds on twitter (although from nothing reliable) that Koke is Jose's first choice and if he can't get him then he'll go for Cesc. Might be something in it somewhere then

Happy that we're getting linked with players in positions that we need to strengthen!

If that is the case I will be happy either way, Koke or Fab will both stranghten us immensely, we need someone powerful in the middle, now that Super Frank is out the door.

Agreed. Think Koke will cost a lot more than Fabregas but has age on his side. Looks like if you can't beat them, buy them re Atletico. That's now 4 players of theirs we have been linked with plus Courtois!!

If Nando leaves that is good enough for me.. Can get anyone who can knock 15+ league goals.

Not anything really, when I first saw it earlier I was confused, a Mexican with a name like that but he holds dual nationality which means no permit problems. Although you would think he is another buy and loan out player, there's no room at the inn for players in his position.

RE: Fabregas, not too sure. Guy is a definitely suited to the Prem and a talented individual, but would he lay down his body for the Chelsea cause, being a Goon n all. Plus anything over 30m and we are getting done over, Koke's buyout is 48m and unless Fabregas comes in at 30 or under, I would prefer we go for Koke or even Pogba.

Also note that Atletico have also had a bd accepted for Guillerme Siquiera, meaning we may be in for Filipe Luis after all. But age is not on his side and I would prefer someone with more longevity such as a Shaw, Ricardo Rodriguez or even an unknown like Kolodziejczak

I see no reason why not. Yes he came from Arsenal but players largely are fans of the clubs they play for. They are not fans like us by and large. He'll also have something to prove if Barca let him go which may make him more hungry.

    Arsenal have passed on Fabregas:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27720171

BBC Reporting Arsene has no plans to exercise any buy back clause the club may have in place with Cesc Fabregas.
Looks like he will be coming back to England though, unless maybe someone like Bayern sneak in a bid.
Looks like Cesc will be at United or Chelsea next season
