I'm with you dude !

I' m still miffed about it.
Thing is, it doesn't, per se, detract from the squad. It hasn't weakened us in any way - the counter argument is that Brady is an upgrade on BJ. But what it has weakened - and only time will tell by how much, is belief and trust in the club board and management team. From being a potential Messiah who can walk on water, AN is now perceived to be a villain, in some quarters, and the deafening silence emanating from the corridors of Carrow Road since Tuesday has only served to underscore this - and if BJ was pleased to be allowed to leave, as has been said, there's absolutely no reason for any silence.
A logical explanation - from the horse's mouth, mind, not speculation from fans who think they know the intricacies of the running of NCFC, would have gone an awful long way to calm frayed nerves when tensions are understandably running a little high, but there's not been a single ****ing syllable from anyone connected with the club??

My personal opinion on the BJ issue is that he got an offer from Derby and decided that at this stage of his career it was the right move for him and his family and that he went through the proper channels, did things the right way and was given the club's blessing to leave at a price that suited all parties.

I see no sense whatsoever in the club forcing him to leave - as has been pointed out ad infinitum on this thread if the club is to progress we need to be having £6m players on the bench rather than starting week in week out and I agree that Jarvis was brought in at the last minute as cover for the loss of BJ rather than pushing him further down the pecking order.

I am disappointed he has chosen to leave as he has been an excellent servant to the club and regardless of his limitations he always gave 100% and worked at his game to improve. You don't have to look back too far for his shooting to be on a par with Tetty's but last season he had clearly worked on that aspect of his game and banged them in for us.

Regardless of how the club have handled his departure I wish every success to him and hope that one day we will see him back at FCR and show him our collective appreciation for his efforts.

Let's all move on

We got promoted without Holty so I'm sure we will be fine without BJ

Want I really want to know is ............................

What chant will the Barclay have for Mbokani??

But why should there be Cromer? - Alex Neil is under no obligation to justify his dealings with us, no doubt he´ll be bombarded with questions about it when he next holds a presser, and I would fully expect him to come out with some answers, but until then the club have every right to keep it under their hat, if they so choose. I´ve got no problem with that, but if their silence only helps to increase the levels of conspiracy theories going around, I would say that has far more to do with suspicious fans than with any underhand dealings from within the club. I´m certainly prepared to give the club the benefit of the doubt until we hear anything to the contrary.

And certainly Bradders is not the sort of player who would thank the club for letting him go, if it was against his will, especially to a lower league side.

My thoughts exactly RBF, he is a very passionate man, if he felt hard done by he'd have told it straight!

So no unveiling of the new signings? We usually do don't we? And come on, the club must be well aware of the feeling of discontent amongst a large section of our fans following this decision - I've actually avoided Twitter the past couple of days but it was pretty toxic earlier in the week, a lot of it pretty ridiculous to be fair - so if this deal was as straightforward as some of you seem to think then why not just come out and explain it to appease any dissent turning into unrest?

And if they could do it on the Jeremy Kyle show with one of his lie detector tests that would settle this all once and for all <ok>

OK so this transfer window hasn't been McNally's finest hour as chief exec.
But when you think that from 2001 - 2009, Neil Doncaster occupied that role, it makes you glad (and wonder how the hell!) we've still got a club to support <yikes>

Very possibly Munky, because there´s nothing to explain - Johnson couldn´t be promised 1st team football, so wanted to go, Derby were interested, he went - could be couldn´t it?

Hopefully we will learn at some point or other :) - if not I dare say the conjecture will run and run.

People who question him should bear that in mind.

I've met him a few times at marketing things, both at CR and elsewhere, and been impressed with him. I've also met the other fella in the same way, and was always tempted to remove his glasses and poke him in the eye! <ok>

I think the most ridiculous thing I've read in this debate is that Gladys would have been ahead of him in the pecking order! A player who has hardly kicked a ball for us and often struggled to make the bench even when fit ahead of our midfield talisman and comfortably most best player of season - you couldn't make it up! <laugh> Honestly, I'd love to know what colour the grass is on some folk's planet!

Gladys = Vadis? As in the Vadis who is central to Neil's plans that we have loaned him our for a month and who Neil never really selects anyway?

As one who now accepts what seem to be the reasons for BJ leaving, I still feel that This was a big decision for both the club and the player and the reasons for the move should be explained. Fans are entitled to communication from the club and that doesn't mean the standard clause when a player leaves (eg. 'the club would like to thank BJ for his services and wish him well for the future'). This was a big decision for both the club and the player and a simple explanation would suffice to dispel the conspiracy rumours which are not constructive to either the club or the player.

The one month loan is simply to get his match fitness up to scratch. If he wasn't in AN's plans it'd be longer than that, DM. The main thing holding him back, according to AN, is working on his tracking back when the ball is lost. I still think he's going to be an important player for us this season.

Interesting, I didn't hear about that. Thanks RER. It'll be good to keep an eye on how he's doing at Rotherham over the next month

It was in a PinkUn intervew a while back and AN emphasised how important a player he could be for us, so yes, it will be good to keep an eye on how he is doing at Rotherham over the next month. Andreu as well.
