So in a sense you're agreeing - he was only going to be sitting on the bench for most of the season and when all the players are fit - he might not even make it on the bench - £6m good deal for a fringe player- his achievements last year are irrelevant to the development of the football clubNo offence longsight, but we are on completely different wavelengths here.
There is no doubt in my mind, I DEFINITELY prefer BJ to Brady. Now don't get me wrong, Brady looks a tidy player and excellent going forward (particularly that wicked left foot delivery) but I agree with others who say we need Olsson back because at times Brady has looked all over the shop positionally (his pace and excellent tackling help him recover sometimes).
BJ isn't perfect either, but he is the heart and soul of what we achieved last season. He was our player of the season. You're ripping the very centre of that out. With three years left on his contract he's worth far more than Brady on just one.
I can only think that Johnson in part forced the move because he didn't want to bench regularly, which is a massive shame (but in a sense a credit to him because not many players would want to go down to the Championship just to get more game time).
That's the quote that typifies what a total F**k up today has been by the board and manager!
£6m for Bradders is pretty good for a player who wanted away.
Surely AN is going to have to sit down with Grabban and thrash something out after that. We need him.
There are often plans that don't come off as in any business - why the hysteria -

Are you serious!? We had all summer and knew from Bristol Citys accepted bid what the price was! We didn't have to wait until 2 hours before the deadline! I think you should think before posting aggravating crap.WOW111 I didn't realise you were on the NCFC board and so privvy to everything that happened today, Gayle had been agreed on a 4 year deal which was pulled at the last minute by the CP chairman. How is that DM's or AN's fault.
Think before you post and try to be sensible!

Then explain the distinct lack of ambition this summer then Dave? The board have to take responsibility.
This summer, we've brought in a striker, and lost one striker who never plays.
We've lost one CM/LM that never starts in the Prem under AN, and brought in a DCM, and a LM/LB who arguably will start in our 'best XI'.
Why all the panic?
