Just pray to god that we don´t get a serious injury to Bassong, or that Olsson doesn´t break down again, because we really haven´t got much in reserve. Johnson going is a blow, and seems a bit unnecessary, maybe he and AN had a coming together, but whatever, he was a good squad player, and Derby have got themselves a good´un.

Well not yet but unless something is going to happen that's been kept under wraps that could well be it.

Can't understand why keep Grabban even more so after Johnson going

Absolute bullshit this is, and I'll stand by what I said earlier that moving Johnson on is one of the most bizarre pieces of business I can ever remember us doing. It is simply madness and makes no sense, something is definitely going on that we don't know about, and I really do t like it.

On a positive note we still have Mulumbu and Olsson to come back and the first 3 games we've played well without Johnson. Just hope the team spirit is still there.

Wishful thinking. The club has said that all business has been done. Great business, wasn't it. I just can't understand why we'd sell BJ without replacing him. Hate to think what the other players feel about that.

I can't even eat my Dinner. I'm so angry. There will be no signings. this is it. I've always Been "In McNally we trust" that dies today. Worst deadline day i can ever remember. We have nearly a worse squad than what got promoted.

No offence longsight, but we are on completely different wavelengths here.

There is no doubt in my mind, I DEFINITELY prefer BJ to Brady. Now don't get me wrong, Brady looks a tidy player and excellent going forward (particularly that wicked left foot delivery) but I agree with others who say we need Olsson back because at times Brady has looked all over the shop positionally (his pace and excellent tackling help him recover sometimes).

BJ isn't perfect either, but he is the heart and soul of what we achieved last season. He was our player of the season. You're ripping the very centre of that out. With three years left on his contract he's worth far more than Brady on just one.

I can only think that Johnson in part forced the move because he didn't want to bench regularly, which is a massive shame (but in a sense a credit to him because not many players would want to go down to the Championship just to get more game time).

This weekend my dog died, I lost my phone in a field in Wetherby, my car broke down in the rain on Monday and my missus is being nice to me.(which believe me is more worrying than the other 3). I was hoping for some uplift today but feel completely underwhelmed. If AN is responsible for ins and outs then the buck stops there, but he's hardly put a foot wrong so I'm staying positive.....ish

Why do people keep talking crap like this? Johnson isn't a left winger! He's too solid and slow. He filled in and did great, But he is a CM! The Olsson, Brady argument is nothing to do with Johnson. He could fill in there when he had to. He isn't a left winger!

Surely AN is going to have to sit down with Grabban and thrash something out after that. We need him.

Confirmed by ITV now, not quite sure where that leaves Brady though, thought he was our new left winger

That's the quote that typifies what a total F**k up today has been by the board and manager!

    From Twitter

    JEROME SURPRISED AUSTIN IS STAYING

Like a few people, Norwich's Cameron Jerome is surprised that Charlie Austin has not been snapped up this transfer window...
Still Can't actually believe someone hasn't snapped up @chazaustin9 today very bizarre!!

So am I. I would have more than happy if we spunked the £15m asking price on him

I am completely ****ing lost for words, totally ****ing speechless. The board and ****ing 'teflon' McNally have some serious bloody questions to answer, talk about waving the white flag before hardly a ball has been kicked in anger. So how much have we actually spent to stay in this division? £7M for Brady, well Johnson's sale covers that. Mbokani's wages, RvW out the door covers those. Nothing ever changes with this ****ing club, gutted, just totally gutted !
