Look where it got us.
2 humiliating capitulations at wembley and more draws than an art class. Not to mention the turgid football churned out by lack dross
<laugh>

We were reeling from consecutive relegations and we were just hoping to stop the slide. Jack Ross with a brand new squad just assembled went above and beyond all expectations and gave us two trips to Wembley that year. We would have gladly accepted that at the start of the season. Anybody who understands football can see he done a good job at Sunderland. There’s only you that can’t see it.

Ross must've shagged his lass or summat.

Team talk reporting that semi on from Bristol has agreed a deal.
It is only teamtalk who are as reliable as Tory politician promise

I've not seen either Semenyo or Duncan play so what will they bring that we haven't got? Or is it just depth?

Semenyo's stats look poor for a striker so what is it that the stats don't show?

Duncan, I'm worried about for different reasons. He'll expect to be starting games based on reports from Liverpool and Fiorentina, and will not be afraid to show discontent if it's not going his way.

I don’t know anything about Duncan tbh.

Semenyo is a quick and tricky inside forward. He’s more of a McGeady type player than a striker. He’s still only 19 or 20, I’m not worried about his stats...

Was linked with a £20m move to Chelsea b4 their transfer embargo

So why isn't he playing enough for Bristol City?

I'm not one of that whining lot by the way and writing someone off before he kicks a ball for us, it's a genuine question because I'm interested.

Ross was awful, should have been sent packing long before he was.

Tbh. I've no idea but he fits the bill as he's rumoured to be quick and powerful. The type of player we're lacking. Presuming PP sees him as the type that gives us another option in games.

Apparently we've pulled out of the move for Bobby Duncan. So I wonder if that means Grigg isn't leaving, or if that's because we prefer Semenyo and only wanted one?

Bit disappointed with this. Was hoping we would be the club where Duncan gets his head down and gets on with his football, especially after changing the bell end agent he had when he left Liverpool. I think Semenyo has been brought in for the wide positions so I'd guess Grigg is staying.

I know nothing about the bloke but I know his agent is a one to avoid, esp after Duncan's departure from Liverpool. Prob he had something to do with it.
