Yes agree as you never know when an injury may strike.

See Cloughie has mentioned Liam Boyce scored and could have played his last game for Burton
If we could find another lower league defoe or skp we will ( would ) romp this league
Never seen boyce play but he seems to have all the attributes.
Then again so did grigg

Parkinson seems to be saying that he's not looking for any more strikers as he's already got a good selection now he's got Lafferty in, but he does say that he's expecting more happening in the early part of this week so we shouldn't have to wait long.

There will be very few clubs willing ( or able ) to pay his wages both in this and c'ship league.
If he goes on loan we will be paying at least half his wage. Better than nothing I suppose.
He's too old for any club to offer much more than an 18 mth contract and certainly not on the wages he is on here.
It is somewhat naive to think that a club can simply offload a player and move on.
That's why us and nufc had so many players not playing on our books.
For us who can forget flo, rodwell, tainio, chimbonda et al.
The only redeeming possibility is that macgeady's ego is such that he will force a move ( to a club of his choosing ) to show he is master of his own destiny as it were.
I’d certainly be interested to know what money he’s on here

He signed a new deal start of this season, the line at the time was he'd taken a big pay cut to stay and help us get back to where we belong. He might still be on more than average league 1 wage but I doubt it's more than a championship club could afford.

Maybe not a top 5 or 6 club, but the best I doubt very much.
He wouldnt get a game with a top 5 or 6 club due to his reputation not to mention his age.
I think usa or America is his most likely destination tbh

Sunderland handed boost in international defender chase

Sunderland have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Bristol City defender Baley Wright - with Luton Town boss Graeme Jones distancing himself from a move for the defender.

The Hatters were reportedly Sunderland's main competitors for the Australian international, but Jones says there is 'not really' anything happening with Wright and Luton.

Bristol trying to play us off with Luton, looks like it's failed so expect a statement shortly

I reckon we should see if we can get colback in on loan.
He never gave less than 100% for us and as well as in mf he had some canny games covering at fb. Chipped in a few goals as well.
Got to be better than leadboots and could cover if power ever gets a knock or too many cards

Nketiah has gone to Bristol City so it looks like Semenyo will be off soon.
