I think we should sign Tommy Forecast purely because he has a great name
 
dont know anything about this forecast guy, doesnt seem that highly rated by the saints fans on their, however i would take 2.5mil plus add ons for gazza, maybe a little less if we could loan him back!!
 
If the article is to be believe and they seem him as a challenge to Davis I doubt very much he'll be coming back on loan
 
Take the 2.5 million everyday. Don't think we need this Forecast fella (Michael Fish in other words) seeing as Allen wants Nelson, the ex Notts keeper.
 
Rather have Tommy "Lotto" Numbers than Tommy "Weather" Forecast.

Also on the page is £600k for Payne.

So we could see £3 million plus coming into the bank, I mean club.
 
A league two player with that amount of experience going for that amount is insane. That said if it is true I would bite their hands off! You could buy a new starting eleven with that and have money to spare!
 
It maybe insane, but in contrast to Arsenal and Tottenham both wanting Jack Butland from Birmingham (only experience is on loan at Cheltenham) and a fee of £4-7m are being quoted, then I think Southampton will be getting a bargain
 
I'd like to inform those not familiar with the football rumours site that it's highly unreliable and anyone can submit these 'rumours'. The site barely ever comes true and the only adjective I can use to describe it is the excrement from a bull. Although I agree that a bid has been made by Southampton, the fees suggested are most likely just speculated.

Can't anyone make rumours like this, Yes, I don't believe it, the only bit I believe is that Soton have bid for him but other from that nothing else. Sadly the most we will get is 1 million as his contract is too short.

Young - what was that ?
When Gazza & Payne are sold I would be very surprised if the amounts will be disclosed. - Do we know the actual amounts, add-ons & sell ons involved with Jarvis & Jackson ? not exactly. It will mean that Scally will probably give MA less than he might like for new players.
 
KSN are saying gillingham and reading could do some business over the coming weeks and a possible first may be michael hector a 20 y/o defender on loan at barnet last season, though other clubs are also interested...namely barnet, crawley and afc wimbledon to name a few.

would love jordan obita back but see him going to a championship or div 1 club.

could payne or gazza be of interest to reading also ?...guess we'll find out shortly ?
