I would expect he'd jump the pecking order a bit. 4th maybe but then again I dunno. Klopp might not agree with that pecking order.

I kind of expect

1. firmino. due to work rate
2. Mane. cos he signed him.
3. coutinho? I just feel as though the lads going missing a lot
4. lallana.
5. any kid going. Ojo, kent, brannagan.. etc etc

Over all I would be questioning if he arrives and plays attacking it has to signal bye bye allen but could signal lallana drops down too.
 
I think he'll be looking at turning him into a proper CM personally, I don't see the point of buying a number 10.

Klopp's not daft and he can get the best out of players, he has the attributes to be CM - he just needs tweaking.

Looks maybe ok.

I think a 433 prob looks pretty strong too if its a single pivot and 2 box to box. plus that gives scope for grujic to come on at times

I suggest this as I felt v top 4 we needed more midfield control than we got with firmino and i felt he vanished in games where he was under pressure.

I can't quite bring myself yet to say no coutinho but i still have that sneaking suspicion.

Is either team top 4? hmmmmm don't think so.

Now we must look seriously at what he is.

1. youngest ever Feyenoord player at 16. played there 4 seasons and got 11 goals in 35 games in last season. won dutch cup

2. Moved to PSV. played 3 years there. won dutch cup again and also won dutch league and captained their side in his final season. scored 14 goals twice in that time was dutch footballer of year that last year.

3. moves to newcastle and scored 11 in 38 games in a struggling team.

4. Is only 25 now. so is quite experienced and has a decent goal record.

5. 30 dutch caps as well.

I don't really know after that.


So:

LFC have IMO the following players for that line of 3.

Coutinho, Firmino, Mane, Ojo, Lallana.

I don't know if it'll work out but at least he's not total trash.

I think you have to add Klopp's approach into the equation too; he doesn't spend big unless it's a necessity

You could swap the ninja with coutinho
 
Mag fan in peace. When Gini can be arsed he can look very good but he goes missing for huge parts of the game, even ones he has done well in he is missing at times, like a willo the wisp. After Christmas for us he was just **** in virtually every game, like he couldnt be arsed, although i think any player in a McClown team probably feels like that after one of his famous dressing room pep talks. He was marginally better after Rafa arrived, but not by much. Good luck with him if you do sign him. Most of us see this as another Carrol situation for us, a win win scenarion. Thanks in advance<cracker><cheers><cheers>
