It is expensive, but footballers are expensive!!

You have to pay shed loads to get other teams key players. It's an expensive league, simple as that.

If we'd offered 25mil and not got him we'd be calling our board cheapskates. The board can't win.

I'm happy and think he'll be an excellent signing. He typifies what Klopp wants. He just needs a little more consistency, which I'm sure Klopp can install in him and he's good to go.

A hard working Winger/CF that is PL ready is like gold dust. We've got one and people are whinging about 5-10mil over payment <steam>

We moaned for not paying the extra £5m for Texiera at £35m in Jan.... yet now some people moaning we are spending that extra £5m on Mane... can't win eh

I think people are moaning because you could get similar quality from abroad for £15m-£20m.

Some random guy that would be a total risk. We've done that with the 3 other signings tbf.


Klopp tried to sign Mane while in Germany so he clearly wanted him. It wasn't a kneejerk singing like some would like to believe to fit their moan about everything agenda <ok>

Klopp put a bid in for him before he even joined Liverpool. The fact he plays for Southampton just feeds the bullshit <ok>
