Any thoughts who that might be right now?

Too early to say, but rumblings it could be one of the German crew - the managers from Leverkeusen or Mönchengladbach are possible. I'm sure they'll look at Bielsa too, or it could be a wildcard like Pochettino was.

The way our club is run, they'll have a list of five already they've had for a while in case of this kind of thing happening.

You heard much on Mane? Know we were linked week or two back but seems to have gone quiet, surprised not been a bit more interest from other clubs though.

Not really a meltdown. We think he's good, but certainly not worth what you're paying for him. Losing Pochettino was a far bigger blow. We'll replace him with someone as good/better going by recent history. Be sad to see him go, but not *that* sad.
Martinez is available mate :)

I think everyone is waiting to see what happens with RK and who we bring in as a replacement. Mane still has 2 years on his contract left, so would take a silly bid to dislodge him (upwards of £30m) and I just don't know if he's worth that. There's probably better options out there for that outlay - he can be a game changer on his day, no doubt, but he's pretty inconsistent.

Jordan Amavi linked.

he played 10 games for villa last year and is a left back... i would say and agent is at play here.. I'd say he's desperate to get out of villa.

The fact he couldn't nail down a starting berth at the worst PL side in donkeys would be a worry like...

that would make sense.. I mean there has had to be a suspicion that koeman would be looking for a move at some point and also that his contract was not signed.

In the end Koeman could be good for everton if he just makes certain players get fit and then actually teaches others to defend. Its just a shame after southampton came onto good form in the final 3rd of the season and integrated finally a couple guys in after summer's pressures last year.

Jonas Hector's agent has told Kicker that Hector has been permitted to negotiate with other clubs.

Amalvi is talented - would take a puny on him.

But Hector is the one.

update from ehco site

Skertl sought by two turkish clubs

Leicester full back Ben Chilwell is a target, as is Borussia Moenchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud. Sadio Mane of Southampton is also on the club’s radar, with Mario Gotze apparently unwilling to move from Bayern Munich.

Reports in France linking the Reds with a move for Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi, meanwhile, are wide of the mark. There is no interest in the 22-year-old, who is currently recovering from a serious knee injury.
....

phew.. agent whoring it was then..

mate i hope you keep hold of koeman and your better players really annoying when this **** happens in football, but i'm sure you've got a contingency plan for if/when this happens as the club seems to be very well run given the setbacks you've had especially from us trying to buy your entire first team two years ago <laugh>

FC Köln want around €10m for Jonas Hector. LFC scouted Hector last season, who said in March he'd 'think about it', if Klopp came calling.

Saints have refused Everton permission to speak to Koeman. Hahaha, likely just to piss them off a while. Your move Ronald...

Coutinho has told reporters "I miss winning cups"

Errerr...

1) you were a sub at intervals when you won one

2) you've been in two finals to win one and disappeared....

Hint....

the fees just gone to 60mil and frankly i'm done with him if he said that.

he was the worst player on the park and got left on when firmino and lallana came off (not much better mind) in basel and he never put a foot on the ball.
