If they had an extended period of time together, they'd rip most defences to bits..

Teixeira wants to go, so maybe a waiting game going on here. Could he put in a transfer request? Only if the two clubs valuation gets closer maybe.

Chelsea have 25m burning a hole in their pocket, they've more funds than us anyway..
Could see them go straight in and offer Shaktar what they want..
He may have said he wants to play for Liverpool, but if Chelsea come calling, with the added benefit of London living, he'll be off there in an instant.

It's not really that surprising since Studge has been injured most of this season and Firmino only joined in the summer.

Studge has only played six games (five legaue) this season. coutinho has had a couple of injury problems and Firmino took time to settle.

No consideration for current league positions? Obviously, Chelsea can offer CL football this season but he's cup-tied anyway so that's irrelevant. Chelsea are less likely to get CL qualification than us, neither of us will qualify via the league but we stand a better chance of doing it than them. Both could qualify through European competition but what are the chances of Chelsea winning the CL or us winning the EL?

I guess we'll get a rough idea soon enough about the "Klopp-Factor" if such players come to us instead of other teams in the CL or with CL aspirations.. then you know the man has pulling power, if not, it maybe not as much as a factor as we'd have hoped for.. or in the most simplistic term, the modern footballer is a mercenary and wants money and location?

I think if anything, Chelsea will be favourites to sign him because we have a restricted wage structure that see's players get an incentive to do well rather than just being paid top whack to plod along.
