Looks like Sinclair is of to Watford. We want £3m they want to pay less or will use one of their sister clubs abroad to get him to sign a pre transfer contract and we get nothing, hope he flops wherever he goes
i think theres grounds for test cases in these regards. if an english club tries to subvent a clear rule in moving peopel aorund then FiFa have rules very clearly on minors in barca, real and atletico. I think its rich of us to whine when we bought him... however as we did we should NEVER have givne him a game under rodgers or anywhere else when he was not signed up long term. did we put him on a 2 year deal at 17 for chuffs sake.
Lots of clubs move players to sister clubs to get around the rules. Utd and Chelsea have done it with Belgium clubs in the past so players can be "naturalised" and then eligible to play here.
thats not a transfer of ownership though. its a loan to get eu citzenship to get off a uk work permit rule This is I'm going to leave you and the rules say you can get compensation u24 so now i move to wherever of 6 months and then come back and laugh.
If it's anything like the Konoplyanka failed transfer then we're only getting him if we meet the asking price
I just have a strong gut feeling. Everything that's being reported, him coming out and being so open about it. Personal terms agreed. Just stinks of a transfer that's hit a slight snag that will be pushed through. I hope I'm not wrong. The Brazilian boys at Anfield would be great. I'll also add that I think this transfer makes sense. Many on here don't I've noticed. The simple matter is he scores goals, we lack goals. Simple equation imo. I'm sure other positions will be looked at too, but this window may be too soon. Summer will be the wholesale changes. But Tex, Ford, and Firm would give us excellent options up top.
All good points. I go buy his cl form only and by that he is better than what we have. Maybe others go by Ukrainian league is **** or by Brazil don't pick him.
He's been pretty vocal in saying he doesn't know why bid was rejected would like to join, would like to play with Cout and how his agent is working hard to get things sorted. Not often you actually hear a playing speak openly about it. Would l's be difficult for him to go back and play for them after saying all that, he's not gonna on strike like lovren but saying all that must sit uncomfortably with shaktar. Can an see a compromise of about 30m
LIVERPOOL TEIXEIRA DEAL ‘UNLIKELY’ Sky sources understand Alex Teixeira is unlikely to join Liverpool in this transfer window after the two clubs failed to agree a fee for the Brazilian. Shakhtar Donetsk wanted at least £35million for a player they consider to be their last remaining valuable asset. We understand it is likely Teixeira will leave in the summer, but no deal is in place with Liverpool or any other club. Earlier this month manager Mircea Lucescu said he would not stand in the way of Teixeira leaving if the offer was right for the club. Shakhtar have regrets over the £24 million sale of Douglas Costa to Bayern Munich, deeming the value too cheap, and as a result were prepared to be stubborn with the Teixeira negotiations. They are also mindful of winning back the Ukrainian title from Dynamo Kyiv. The pair are level on points at the top of the table with Teixeira a key part of the team. ..... That's sky's report. I don't think I'll waste energy waiting to see this one happen or not now.
