I think caulker is of limited utility to us. The league cup is over bar hopefully 2 games. He is not cup tied for FA cup... i dont think he's available for europa.. so he is for league games only

Caulker played three games in Europe for Saints this season. However, I think he can play in EL for us because Saints only played qualifiers / playoffs.

our squad was down to 21 cos we could not find enough HG players

We would have to swap him with someone already on list... I think... we need to figure this one out cos I'm not sure we can register him.

I thought we HAD to have a minimum number of HG players? Its not a limitation on none HG players as such (although effectively it is).

there should be no problem adding Caulker to our EL squad. He is HG anyway.

Yep, our panic buy when Torres buggered off. That wasn't in the script. That's what I mean by lucky punts; and he was an unlucky one, as they have all been apart from Sturridge and Suarez, oh and Cout. Apart from that, **** all.

well.... rafa did ok...

In general rodgers did much better in one january than 3 summers.

houllier didn't buy in the period. Rodgers didn't for 2 in a row. Klopp might just do the one actual buy for the future.

I go back to the newcastle situation where they bought in players and upset others under keegan and ended up losing form as a result. That was prior to the window but look at faustino asprilla.... he came in feb 1996 and newcastle just could not figure out how the hell to use him.

very hard to come in and get settled. living in hotels, not moving kids til summer etc etc etc....
