Hmmm chance would be a fine thing. Just ONE player everyone agrees is fantastic would be nice <ok>

What's the point in appointing one of the best chefs in the world and giving him a freezer full of frozen vegetables and a packet of turkey ****ing twizzlers <doh> That's pretty much what this is....here you go Chef Klopp....cook something Michelin starred up with this ****e <laugh>

This is not the [HASHTAG]#bite[/HASHTAG] I was looking for <ok>

well i suppose if the choice is no-one... or a loan for a guy with zero experience in prem OR worse Ilori ;) then... well cualker it is.. but hes not even as good as the most pilloried LFC CBs.

Having never seen him in a Liverpool shirt I still have more confidence in him than Lovren.

Fresh start for him.

Obvious long term we need proven quality.

Let's see how he gets on.

The Shelvey transfer shows how ridiculous the Jan window is, £12m <laugh> He's only just worth half that, it maybe not alot in the grand scheme of things but its still too much.

So if Shelvey is going for £12m, then how much is an actually good player going to cost or even a quality player. Better deals to be had in the summer.

I'm willing to give the lad a chance. Like Astro I think everyone we sign should be given a chance to prove themselves in a Liverpool shirt before we sit in judgement of them.

Caulker is pants though from what I have seen of him. Lets hope the RED SHIRT and the chance to play for such a noble, world famous team team spurs him on to great things.

If not we can always buy him "Billy's boots", reference for the older generation there!

I don't agree on your valuation.

I think 12 mill is good value for him.

Low risk at that price.

We could import Barcelona en masse, win everything in sight, and people would still moan.

Rather that than we keeping signing ****e though eh

Caulker's not fit to lace my boots <grr> Not even playing for Spurs spurred him on <whistle>

I thought we had 25% sell on clause so even if on full sale price surely that is only £3m and if on the profit wasn't Shelvey sold for £6m therefore it would be £1.5m for us - or am i missing something (again) ?

Being reported as 30% of the sell on price so 3.6 apparently. We will clearly never find out as all these deals are kept pretty secret.

It was a 30% sell on clause I believe.

Sell on clauses aren't always just on the profit either.

I have no idea on this deal though
