That's what we should do with youngsters anyway and not the stupidity of what Brendan done with him to shatter his confidence. Sorry gerrez lol not Brendan bashing but it was ******ed

Not sure why you're apologising to me, you're right.

I'm not and never really was a massive Brod fan. I stick for people that get unfairly criticised though so maybe you've noticed me defend him before

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed he has received a message of congratulations from former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson after his impressive start to life at Anfield. (Liverpool Echo)

The echo have said that Arsenal have been scouting neves of Porto extensively. Sorry Jimmy, think we may get beaten to that signing.

We're apparently interested in Davor Lovren... 17yr old brother of Dejan.

Louis van Gaal's job is not under threat should Manchester United exit the Champions League on Tuesday. (Daily Express)

Lovern is a good player, if his brother is cheap he can mind him and give hi ma room and board deal.

People late our Dejan just cos he's a greedy merc but he's a decent player at the end of it. Klopp appreciates him.

Hes been playing better than Skrtel to be fair.... Not that it's hard.

Skertl is a coward.

He bascially panicked when Martial got the ball when we played Utd and retreated 5 steps, gave him time to run rather than smash the guy into the stand from behind and welcomed him to the prem properly. Beofre he knew it he was i nthe pen area and let martial score.

Skertl is a clown like that a lot of the time.

Lovern is abused because:

a) he made a bad blunder or two himself (one really bad this year)

b) he is not sahko but plays lcb.

c) he's a greedy merc as gerrez said many times.

Point b is no reason to mug him off.

point A has been largely cut out and point c is to be expected these days from most players

I called for [HASHTAG]#skrtelout[/HASHTAG] in September for him continuously backing off the opponents until they are in position to score

Oh he gets it quite a bit to be fair to him. He's a front foot defender not a back off kind of guy.

He's a good player. shame he's not sahko but we all dream of a team of sahko's now don't we?

I'd sooner have Lovren than Skrtel simply because Lovren can play the high line. Posted a pic in another thread which shows Skrtel playing so much deeper than the rest of the line.

i agree. the high line is important to enable a team wide press in the correct areas. Isolating half the team by dropping off is not good.

Its the same as mingolet. Briefly there he was actually in a good position outside his penalty area, say Rubin away for example and there was even a couple efforts (unsuccessful) at chipping him. He's dropped back off since sahko has come out of the team and i wonder if thats a co-incidence.

Lovern is a good player. he is what he is and he suits the prem.

Whoa, let's not get ahead of ourselves - Lovren is still a crap defender. He's better protected in this new system but his fundamental flaws remain. He was a bag of nerves yesterday.

I'd still accept £10m and get him out.
