Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has caught the eye of multiple Premier League clubs, with Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal linked to the Belgian's signature, while Chelsea have also been credited with an interest.

Liverpool Ready New Offer for Benteke as Villa Exit Looms
Friday, June 26
"Liverpool are ready to follow [...] up with an improved bid in excess of £25m, which they hope will tempt the Villans to take what would still be a big profit on an unhappy player," reported David Maddock of the Daily Mirror.
Maddock's claim followed news that Benteke "will not sign a new contract with Aston Villa," according to Sky Sports News on June 22.
"My agent knows my ambition. I once want to play in the Champions League. That's a dream and my ambition," said Benteke, quoted by Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur in early June.
The player did, however, admit a regular first-team place is important ahead of Euro 2016, per Sky Sports.
Which club is right for Benteke?
The prolific frontman has racked up 49 goals in 101 appearances for Villa, netting 12 during an injury-ravaged 2014-15 season, per Soccerbase. At 24 years old, this is the right time for him to step into top-level European football, as he has time to adapt and improve.
While Benteke's confirmation that he wants to feature in the Champions League seemingly rules out a move to Liverpool, Terreur believes things aren't so simple: "When a player says he fancies Champions League, fans immediately react that he doesn't want to join Liverpool. Of course he wants."
It seems inevitable he will move on—his quality and ambition far outweighs that of Villa—but the Midlands club will want to get their money's worth.
Benteke has the quality to make an impact in the Champions League, but he also needs regular game time if he's to become a star away from Villa Park.
