Not happy with that if true, I heard we would reject that offer, just have to wait and see I suppose. You got yourselves a decent RB either way though and he won't be looked back upon as a waste like some from last Summer <ok>
 
Betting at 1/8 suspended after some big bets went in on him today.

Says so on sky app.
It must be accepted are at least close to it.
 
We will see. In the end Southampton should have more than enough in the bank to finance their own moves this summer so they must reckon this is it or only lfc have shown any interest.

Couple of ITK's on our board are saying it's done, and one of them isn't wrong generally so you may as well accept this as done.

@Jimmy Squarefoot - I've just seen it maybe right that we reduced our asking price as he was starting to agitate a bit.
 
Yeah I sort of resigned myself to losing Morgan & Clyne around xmas time - Morgan will go to United or Arsenal, (not Spurs, said he'd only leave for CL) can't blame him either after he wanted to leave last Summer n was told no - he probably felt (rightly imo) that he deserved his big move before Chambers/Lovren but after a mini sulk he knuckled down and gave us another fantastic season. Will certainly be a success wherever he goes as he's simply too good for us. I've been saying since League 1 that he will be one of Europes top midfielders playing at a top club one day, looks like that day is this Summer. Only thing that pisses me off is United / Arsenal fans spouting **** like "he wouldn't go straight into the team" <doh> Don't deserve him but they'll soon find out <ok>

Maybe slightly seeing as only a year left but just over £10m for an established PL right back who's English isn't too bad... at least he'll actually be a good signing for you.

I know what you mean but shouldn't be a reason to add value especially as we are fine in the HG department.

I I must admit when ever I've watched him he's just looked like another Walker. Quick and half decent going forward but average defensively.

Very happy to be proven wrong, and can't say I've watched him enough to get s brilliant opinion though.

You ou seem to think he'll be a decent buy and do well for us then?
 
He's a good player.

Glad it's over with tbh, sick of him stringing us along.

In theory, sure, but since your manager's ability to sort out a defence is... questionable, I'll have to reserve judgement.

English adds a % regardless of whether you need HG or not. I'd say he's certainly better than Walker - Don't get me wrong he's not a top top level FB - That's probably why you're able to sign him, but he is a very good FB who will only improve (you assume) - he's heading towards the best years of his career now as well so all in all yeah a good signing for you <ok>
