The Daily Star reckons Manchester City offered Liverpool three different strikers in an attempted part-exchange for Raheem Sterling.
The Reds want straight cash for the want-away England international who they value in excess of £50million but City tried to hawk them Edin Dzeko, Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo during negotiations.
Dzeko, 29, has scored 71 times in 185 games for City, Jovetic, 25, 11 times in 39 games and Negredo, 29, 23 times in 48 games.

Well negredo is going to Valencia as far as I was aware... They ha to buy him after the loan spell?

Sturridge and Jovetic could be a decent pairing. Jovetic and Ings should be ok to when Sturridge is injured.

In the end coates to them for 4mil is the most important thing. after that we really have to figure out what to do with ilori as he's looking like a loss unless he can show fitness.
