Jovetic is injured as much as Sturridge though. We can't really rely on them being injured at different times to each other or them avoiding injuries, because history shows they will constantly get injured. Dzeko doesn't seem to be the type of striker who'll create his own chances, work hard or stretch defences which is what we need more than anything.

This is why I wouldn't want Dzeko as part of any Sterling deal. He's not the right type of player for us in the same way Balotelli isn't the right type of player for us. Dzeko is a finisher inside the box, problem being you've got to get it to him in the box otherwise you might as well not pass to him. As you say Lucaaas we need strikers who stretch defences, move wide and play off the shoulder of the defenders, for all said about Ings lack of quality at least he's a player that will do this.

Well yes, but also the rival factor and that Arsenal must now think they can win the league. Why should Arsenal help the Chavs or Citeh when a restriction on who they can put in their squads would help Arsenal.
Arse, ManU and ourselves have English (HG) players that are vital to first teams, Citeh and Chavs have to use youngsters who aren't ready.

Carvallho apparently was head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch in England v Portugal game today.

Would be the type of DM we could do with but could cost an arm and a leg.

Hope our scouts are at the touenament watching every game though.. plenty of talent to be seen there.

Liverpool FC are in advanced negotiations for Paris Saint Germain left-back Lucas Digne, that's according to reports today.
The 21-year-old has struggled to hold down a first-team berth at the Parc des Princes, but he's highly rated in France and was a star performer for Lille before a £10m move to the capital three years ago.
Digne has made just 29 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG since joining, and could be keen to move on in order to find regular first team football. He's been capped at every level for France, and has appeared eight times for the senior team.
Roma are also said to be interested, meaning Brendan Rodgers would need to move quickly to secure his man.
