"The deal will also see New Balance selling club products in its 500 stores across the globe."

I can honestly say I've never seen a New Balance store. Just wish we'd revert to a normal kit manufacturer rather than this shoddy US ones

What's this actually mean...? I'm assuming the kits will still be made by Warrior?

It's replaced the old one. The old deal was £25m a year for 6 years = £150m over the course of the contract, however this has been re-negotiated and although no exact figures it's record breaking which means it'll be more than the £25m a year. Whether they get any added extra's for giving us extra not sure.

Doesn't specify how long either, but I'd guess it's the remainder of the old contract (another 3 years?) and maybe longer.

Can't say I care who makes the kit tbh, so long as we're getting good money in the deal. I was the same with the stadium name, couldn't care less as I'd still call it Anfield regardless.

Lol sod that, imagine renaming anfield the "sports direct arena" and plastering that ****e all over the stands. There's only so much whoring I can stand.

As for the kit, warrior/nb make **** kits that sell poorly, and it's not a patch on the deal that United negotiated last year of £75m per year with Adidas.

That's the only bit that bothers me out of all that. Obviously I'd like the kit to be better quality too but I only wear it at football so I'm not bothered TBH.

If a Stadium sponsor was willing to give us £100m a year (I don't know the going rate <laugh>) they call it the tampax stadium for all I care <laugh>

Kits sell poorly? well makes no difference to us as the club see none of that money anyway. The money goes to the manufacturer and the shops that sell get the mark up on it. The % the club would make from selling shirts in it's own store is tiny anyway.

The main money for us comes from the income the manufacturer gives us. The last deal was £25m a year for 6 years... this is record breaking and some suggest £300m which i'm guessing would be for the remainder 3 or 4 years of the Warrier deal plus acouple of extra. Say it's £300m for 6 years that's £50m a year... "only" £25m off United who unfortunately are a bigger brand than us world wide and are only really matced by Madrid & Barca.

We're next tier when it comes to global appeal and £50m circa a year would put us right up there with the rest of the biggest teams.

West Brom apparently putting Berahino up for sale after the recent interview he gave about wanting to move to a bigger club. Willing to listen to offers over £20m.

Really hope we don't go near that value... him and Origi are so similar in so many ways that we only need one of them. For £10m I'd take a punt on Berahino but he seems to be having a few issues. First the drink drive charge, now the poor interview. Looks like he needs a bit of a talking to and he's getting a bit big for his boots considering he's had about 1 decent season in his entire career.

We'll offer 30mill

This is one time I hope Spurs gazump us. He's nowhere near worth £20m and definitely not worth over the 20. Its another case of English over inflation

Van Gaal says he needs to spend at least another £125m in summer to make Man Utd competitive <laugh>

It would have been cheaper to just buy Man City than pay the [HASHTAG]#longballgenius[/HASHTAG] to reanimate Utd's corpse

<laugh> Not convinced by VG at all, they are under real pressure from So'ton/Arse/Spurs/Us to hang on to 3rd or 4th

I feel there is some thing a bit materialistic about Van Gaal's approach. He seems far to obsessed with inventing formations and buying super expensive players.

I think United are trying to become the PL's Real Madrid. Celebrities first, football second.

I'm still waiting to see this alleged "philosophy" Van Gaal and Di Maria claimed exists

you've missed this part of the thing.

1. united are desperate.

2. utd have given him far too much control.

3, lvg is only interested in 2 more seasons. he'll spend a billion to get what he wants and will pit his dummy if utd say they are out of cash.

honestly the purile drivel spouted about unlimited funds there is such a joke. one shirt deal and its like oh we have a bil to spend no ffp discussion needed is just plain wrong.

I'm sure utd will spend 125mil on defenders for him....

All attacking footballers, no defenders. That's the Real way
