To quote my mate, he hasn't got a ****ing clue. Apparently we were going to sign Ben Davis, but Ayre blocked it. We were also looking highly likely to sign the Cologne u. 21 kraut goalkeeper, but Ayre's put a spanner in the works there as well.

Even if he isn't, i can't see us selling him. I doubt he'll leave at all but if he does I reckon we'd grant him a free transfer.

Thank God we didn't sign Ben Davies! Well played, Ian. Must be Rodgers desperate to get his own targets again.
But I've said all along - there is something about Ayre which screams 'incompetence'. From negotiation, leadership etc.
Andy Heaton, a blogger who has conenctions at the club alluded to LFC have a problem which stems beyond Rodgers and the committee, and even the owners.
At first I thought he was talking about Gerrard but Ayre joined before Rodgers, Committee and FSG...

Probably all stemmed from the fact he started following liverpool on Twitter at the weekend after mig got dropped.
We were linked but don't remember it being free, might be wrong though. Even if it was, at least 3 mil isn't too bad a hit.
Hmmm...only one appearance all season for Malaga, and that was in the cup. Kameni's been number one.

I read that too and then pissed my self laughing for a good 5 minutes. The guy who'd regularly concede 5 goals against us. Are we looking to replace Brad Jones cause even Mignolet is better than Ruddy. If England weren't so hard up for Goalkeepers he'd have never got near international football.
True, but hopefully we won't be playing against Suarez.
We should be after better though, yes, albeit Ruddy's not the worst keeper in the world. If we're replacing Migs, then he should probably replace Jones.
