Not sure about Wharton. Good on the ball and brilliant and playing passes through the lines - but suspect when it comes to his athletic ability and defensive quality.

Think people jumping to conclusions because Mourinho joining Madrid who is known for being defensive and them signing Dumfries but doubt they’ll be looking for him to leave unless he’s shying it there and pushing for an exit.

Not sure if you’re aware there is a WC going on with 1/2 of the planets population playing in it at the moment.

And I imagine the club are talking to them. Doesn’t mean we’ll sign anyone during the World Cup when won’t be able to do medicals and I imagine most international managers won’t want them being distracted by it.

Yeah - can't see much, if anything, happening 'til after the WC. No doubt there'll be scouts all over it weighing up potential targets, and not just the names we already know of.
