Id go as far as to say hes one the best gks to play the game
 
In the minority, but sounds like Slot is staying to at least see in the new season so have to get behind him.

Play was poor last year, have to hope that was down to certain circumstances and a pre season will do wonders for the likes of Wirtz and Isak even if it is disrupted by the WC.

Does seem Jota’s death had a bigger impact, not just mentally but also in getting players fit during the pre season. Also said at the time I imagine it’s super hard for the new players to integrate. Meant to be a happy exciting time and they joined while 90% of the squad were in mourning and must have been really hard for them to settle.

Tend to agree with all that initially but that doesn't excuse the entire season. It was going poorly and if that is down to poor fitness (Jota, late start, etc) than sacrifice tactics sessions and sort their fitness out. Doesn't explain it we won the first five (despite not playing great) either.

Players should have bonded after a couple of weeks together, the prices was just delayed so, again, didn't excuse the entire season.

We were 19th in the league for attacking press and bottom for midfield press. We were outrun by majority of the league too. I think that is unacceptable no matter what the circumstances are.

We definitely have to get behind Slot if he's staying but that support won't last if things don't change drastically.

Not that I think we should sell Alisson but it will be another player we won’t get a fee for. With Salah, Robertson and possibly Konate this year. We got peanuts for Trent. With vvd and Alisson most likely leaving for free next year I do wonder how we are going to raise funds for transfers.

Can’t remember if it was Milner or Lallana that spoke about pre season and how it really does set up for the season fitness wise. We’ll never know for sure the impact it has, I guess next year will show it. Were def not going full out press and is more controlled but Slots teams in Netherlands were know for their running and pressing so don’t think he’s suddenly just decided to totally change his style.

If things are the same after 10-15 games next season he might be gone as fans will demand it. But until then it’s a wait and see.

Now heavily linked with Yan Diomande, apparently he has an £86m buy out clause. He is keen on a move and his Dad is apparently a massive LFC fan. Reported as being between us and PSG, but he wants to play in the Prem.

Bearing all the above in mind I expect he will sign for City or Chelsea

been linked with him for at least 6 months but it will again mean paying an exorbitant fee . We need to start shopping smarter and look for players with the correct attributes even if they haven't yet made a big name for themselves and turn them into stars or at least stop getting ripped off .
Pains me to say this but City get good players for far lower fees than us
