Not sure about all this talk of Curtis Jones asking for a transfer and being told he has to stay. What is going on behind the scenes with players, Trent then Konate now Jones? Or is it just paper talk

there appears to be some truth in the Jones rumours as now talk that an Italian team are preparing to bid for him but cannot see why we would sell him considering our thin squad plus our need of CG / HG players b.
Having said that **** knows what is going on behind the scenes considering this seasons ins and outs .

Its Inter and they want a 'loan with option to buy'.

****ing tyre kicking cheap Italians.
Can't see that going ahead, no money and leaves us with even less players.

The rumour I have seen there was a bust up between slot and jones after the Bournemouth game. Seen reports vvd joined in about slots tactics but was in a calm manner where jones wasn’t.
 
Being linked with Lutsharel Geertruida, currently on loan at Sunderland from RBL. Talk of taking over his loan. Used to be at Feyenoord under Slot so well known.

Mainly a RB but can cover at CB. Seems a decent short term Option.

Played a lot for Sunderland this season already so surprised they’d be happy to lose him albeit been on bench last few weeks. 10 starts, 7 sub appearances in 20 games.

6foot so might help with defending set pieces as well

seems super low risk high reward this one. Knows the manager, has experience in prem. versatile and no real commitment to signing him permanently, but decent age and probably not super expensive if did want to sign in the summer.

sounds like it’s off as too complex to get through in the time needed with Sunderland also needing a replacement. No chance the guy chose to stay there rather than come to us.

Poor planning from club again, lost Guehi in summer because left it too late as well.

Maybe Frimpong is worse than they were saying so a fit rb became urgent.
