I am certain this is where clubs come to look for the latest gossip and players they should buy so others can’t have them :bandit:

Can’t see the club entertaining the idea.

If Robbo wants to leave he can go on a free in the summer. Selling makes no sense. How much would we get for him? £5m? Not worth it as would have to buy a replacement anyway in an awkward time of year and risks missing out on CL which would cost the club even more.

Also can’t see him wanting to go there, he’ll go and be first choice for a few months before being second behind Udogie when back from injury.

Tottenham have begun talks with Liverpool in an effort to sign left-back Andy Robertson.
According to BBC Sports,

Robertson, 31, is out of contract at Anfield in the summer and said last week that he was undecided on his future.

The Scotland international has started just four times in the Premier League this season and wants regular involvement before the World Cup.

BBC Sport understands Spurs have made an approach but no outcome has been reached at this stage.

Liverpool signed Robertson from Hull City for £8m in 2017 during Jurgen Klopp's reign and he has made 363 appearances for the Reds.

Robertson's most recent appearance came from the bench in the 1-1 draw against Burnley on 17 January.

Before that game, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot said Robertson had been "important" to the club and praised him for the way he has handled losing his starting position to summer signing Milos Kerkez.

If he wants to go in the Summer, then fine. Selling him now would be stupid. Having only one LB on top of the lack of our defensive cover, wouldn't make any sense.
Hughes would deserve sacking if he goes through with selling Robertson.

Agreed.

At the end of the day, he had a chance to leave in the summer but backed himself to get games - he actually has 19 appearances for us this season too, so hardly like he's not getting a look in.

He'll have to get on with it.
