4 days left before this thread becomes relevant again. Any predictions?

Will we buy a CB? No, but only after Konate has been out for a month and Gravenberch has been playing CB for a month will we eventually put in a deadline day bid for some no mark nobody has ever heard of - and get knocked back his team don't have time to buy a replacement.
Will we stubbornly decide we don't need anymore players? We aleady heave, but we'll sucker the fans into thinking we're still afte Semenyo and Guehi.
Will Salah stay the season? Yes, Despite the Saudis offering £100m for him.
Will we spend another £200m? Only if we sell Salah, Macca, Ally, and Robbo for £250m
Will we upset the whole of the Newcastle squad and force them to go on Strike? :emoticon-0130-devil No, but only because they don't have any CBs to get excited about, and Gordon ain't worth the hassle.

Must be some set piece coach as a target. Best watch out or we may go the arsenal route of relying heavily on scoring from them as opposed to be soft on them for others

I’d take just not conceding 1 a game from them before even worry about scoring them.

Maraca leaving Chelsea, I did not see that coming. It seems a daft move by Chelsea at this point in the season. They may have Glassner in their sights, and a few of his Palace players

Doesn't seem like the most logical move from Chelsea. He got them CL and he won the club world cup. Then again, their transfer policy of the last few years doesn't reflect a logical ownership anyway.

Since when have Chelsea operated on logic <laugh>

Think it was inevitable after his little outburst a few weeks back. At the end of the day, Chelsea expect to be challenging for the title no matter what else you may have picked up and their league form is crap

Joel Leandro Ordóñez Guerrero is an Ecuadorian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Belgian Pro League club Club Brugge and the Ecuador national team. Wikipedia
Wiki says he is 2ft 5 inches which seems small for a CB!

Joel Ordóñez (21) is now close to becoming a new Liverpool player, with an expected salary of around £3M per year. Never heard of him, but apparently he is a CB
Great, he's really going to put pressure on Konate and VvD to perform better <doh>

Maybe he'll turn out to be a good player, but at 21 he's hardly what we need right now.
