Exactly, they're putting in the media to encourage others to get into a bidding war. They're happy to sit on it as long as it takes to get a better deal. But the whole time that is happening, there is the for a club to turn Wirtz's head.
Maybe it's just me but I don't like it all playing out in the media. Just feels like it's setting us up for a fall. Almost a lose-lose feeling; yes, we could succeed but because it's been dragging on for ages it feels more of a "finally" than a win. If he doesn't join, we look silly.
I don’t think they do. Bayern won’t go that high and having just lost Tah to Bayern they won’t want to do business with them and strengthen a rival.
City are out of it and Wirtz pretty much said he wants to join.
bid is in and hasn’t been rejected so I think both sides just trying to get a few million either way and then it’s done.
