Think they all join up with national teams from Saturday onwards hence was talk of a few wanting to get done before then.
But also have issue of adidas deal not kicking in until August so any presentation will have to be done in Nike kits so wonder if that’s throwing any spanner’s in the works for announcements as well
Not done until they are done.
Irrespective of anything else they should be reporting for training which is scheduled for July 8th so anyone signed by then will be in Nike kit.

More just wondered if club/nike/adidas are in talks to come to some sort of agreement. Makes no sense for kit deal to run until then (understand covid ****ed the dates) but adidas surely want the team playing and pictured in the new kit asap especially the publicity shots on new signings n
Recent events, including today's anniversary, will have dictated the lack of any further news or unveilings and rightly so.
Well I'm.sure they can hold up a scarf in their casual gear then pop off on holidays or just do their medicals etc.
The olden days you'd have one unviel at the start of preseason for anyone signed and then ge to with it but there's a global social media and merchandise market to drive so it could be about getting adidas kits sold.
Who knows.
The best case is thst it's agreed and down but the big announcements are going to be tied to waht you say.
The worst case is we are not actually in for these guys or have been rejected.
Only time will tell. Being real means who the hell knows right now? Only agents and executives.
I just learnt that Frimpong and Wirtz are really close friends at the club; I wonder if this is one of the things that helped tip the balance into Wirtz deciding to join us. If so, thanks for leaving TAA!
