Better than Jota, yes. Head and shoulders above: I think that's unfair to Jota. If we signed him it would be too late to worry about life-span, but a reason to not sign him would be- he would essentially be replacing the problem we have with Salah- a player with an unknown number of years left in the tank. Jota and Nunez we know we've got 5 years at least in both... Kane he's at an age where you wouldn't want to risk more than a 2 year contract... and then what, would he leave and that £60mill investment be lost with no return and we have to buy another forward all over again.
If he came on a free, hurrah, I'd take him, but he really would be a lousy investment given he would require high wage and a high release clause for someone at the tail end of their career.
I wouldn't sign him, but to suggest at this moment he's not better than what we've got is ludicrous.
He knows the little ball thingy is supposed to go in the big net thingy that's held up by the posts, so he's got a much better understanding of what to do than darwin.
He's fit 90% of the time so a much better option the jota. He's just generally better to be honest.
