Darwin has pace, but that hasn’t exactly helped him when it comes to taking chances he’s been presented with. Kane, whether you think he’s slow, etc , scores goals. He’s basically a 20 goal+ striker per season. Take Salah out our team, who do we have that can do that?
Kane has slowed down and slowed down. He was never quick but he had very.quick players around him at spurs and is in a 70% possession side now in bayern.
Kane simply hasn't the pace
Salah is nearly as bad now but not quite.
If we want to compare kane to useless players then of course he will look good but compare him to isak for pace now.
The truth is that we broke rule #4 with nunez.
No brain dead morons.
Obviously rule 1 is about skill.
Rule 2 is about no signing dickheads
Rule 3 is around pace
Rule 4 is about brain power
Rule 5 is fitness
Rule 6 is height.
If you can find a 6 foot 4 Messi like player who's got the pace of Usain bolt and the manners of garry Lineker but is also a saint then you are onto something.
But in general nunez is a nice lad with pace and a little skill (not enough) but he is as dumb as a post
Nunez would be a lethal striker if he had the instincts to finish and kept himself in the danger zone. He is too dumb to get in the right spots and then can't hit the target.
Great worker, lovely fella but the goal return and opportunities given simply don't lie.
Jota then hasn't the pace but he has the brains and skills and is a good lad too. He's made of glass.
Salah has a massive ego but he isn't a dickhead. He's got everything in spades (or had) what a signing. As a rw being short is actually better for low centre of gravity.
I'd scouts could see the future they'd play the lottery and win. They can only try figure out a players character over time but game intelligence, pace and skill is rare.
Kane has the intelligence and instinct, he's got skills but he is as slow as a cart and is an utter dickhead.
The portrait of himself to his England team mates as a reward for being ther while he broke the England record said it all.
