New rumour Trent will be going Real Madrid and PSG next season. Says he only sees it as a conflict of interest if the two clubs play each other, in which case he feels like he can wear a half-and-half kit and reliably play for both teams simultaneously.

Usually any side attacking down his side of the pitch wonder which side he is playing for anyway.

At this point someone has to start listening to the conspiracy nuts about wages and where exactly the 400 odd million is going and on what.

If lfc are paying people like Edwards and are not able to pay players then that's fsg bodies working on fsg business not lfc business.

Unlike man utd this is not about 1million for loads of honest hard working staff.

This is about a spiralling wages bill while the playing talent drops in quality and quantity.

I fully expect to see a drop with slot and his crew in terms of wages that's significant. 10s of millions compared to klopp.

Players on vast wages left like thiago or matip and no contracts worth the same were awarded.

Lfc have held a line here with 3 first team players and have offered what seems to be less than before in 2 cases and similar to before in the other and nothing has happened since.

Konate has refused an offer.

Diaz has refused an offer.

That should now be alarm bells for the first team

Have they? Not heard either Diaz or Konate confirm they have refused an offer.

also not heard anything to confirm that we’ve offered less to Salah vvd TAA than what they’re currently on.

that’s just you putting 2 and 2 together to make a story. None of us know what has or hasn’t been offered or discussed.

I've heard both but you know the click bait nature of these things.

I'd Google you up some but it's not really worth the time.

We know what salah has told us all though. It's down to how you then interpret his comments as to what you then believe from the typed thst make up stories.

The very far apart comment is what salah said. It's down to what you then believe about that.

One person online as these "authorities" said it meant he was offered less. I will say that came from egypt. This then exploded into many even more click bait comments offering their opinions.

It's out there if you Google salah offered less or Google konate new contract.
(James Pearce said a new offer was made months ago now)

Make or break summer for FSG imo.

If we lose all three, then thats the route they've taken us and I can see both sides of the argument for Salah and VvD, but at the same time they must be willing to spend and rebuild the squad.

There are 3 options for them this summer and all of them will signal their commitment to the future.
1: They spend big, get the squad back to a proper position, whether this be buying in or agreeing new contracts (or both). This would suggest they are still behind the club.
2: They do the bare minimum. 3 out 3 in sort of thing. This would be pathetic and suggest they are just waiting for a buyer, I would hope they get on with it and leave if this is the case.
3: They do nothing. They can **** off at this point.

You could just look at the Red Sox and what happened with them since Henry got involved. They went years without winning prior to his arrival, they invested and won, dropped off, rebuilt, and then (I think) won again...

And fell.off again

If all the stars align it's all fine for his model. He is winning every year with his business but the teams don't have to.

Lfc have 2 losses in a row so he won't want to have another due to spending money on players

The transfer model we have suggests an up and down return like this.

We aim to buy a group of players that are pre-peak years with the idea that they all peak together and return success during that time period. It's no coincidence that a lot of our players were off similar age.

Robbo, Salah, VVD, Alison and Trent are the last of the of the successful Klopp team. Yes, Trent is younger, but the others are similar age and so we're Hendo, Wijnaldum, Mane, Bobby, etc. Robbo and Alisson won't be in the first team much longer imo (I think we'll cash in on Becker)

I hope we don't.
I don't know much about Mamardashvili (the odd game here and there isn't really a lot to go on), but he'd better be bloody good if he's going to replace Ali.
Kelleher is a great no.2, but he is definitely a no.2 imo, at least for a top club. He's hard to fault when does step in, but you can feel the difference when Ali comes back - how much more secure and trusting the defence is.

We won’t sell Alisson. Marma has 100% been brought in to be long term replacement and that means either cup keeper this year if we sell Kelleher or out on loan if we can’t sell Kelleher.

No chance Alisson leaves this summer

Alisson has no intention to be sold. He has been interviewed saying as such.

He will want to go on a free in 2027 and probably go home to Brazil.

I hope we don't too. But it's probably the easiest way of us raising funds

I hope that is right. I pray that it's right. :(

I honestly can't think of another so-called Top 6 club in the Prem that has a better keeper than Kelleher, except, perhaps, City. Forest offered £15m for him some time back, which is taking the utter piss. Somehow we've let him get down to the final year of his contract, but even so, if we sell him this summer, I would start at £30m.
