Chelsea deal was dodgy anyway as was essentially a deal to get Gallagher out the club. Similar to forest buying Anderson from newcastke for £35m and Newcastle buying their 3rd choice keeper for £20m

Fifa outlawed clubs owning % of players registrations a few years back if I recall

In other news, Chelsea have sold a player they brought couple years ago, played 25 mins for them on all comps to Strasbourg for a nice tidy 4m profit… Strasbourg who are also owned by the same people that own chelsea…

Couldn’t make this up.

FIFA need to do something to stop multi club ownership.

Pretty sure they stopped United signing todibo from Nice because owned by same people so why is that any different?

Like I kept saying, no one said was be an influx of incomings.

2 incomings and about 10 outgoing in august after nothing is a crescendo

Looks Like Doak out on loan to Boro now as well

Gordon off to Norwich on loan - seems a high level for him considering had no real first team experience.

Thought might be lesgue 1 or lower champ but if he gets game time there then that’s decent.

I kind of expected the opposite.

New manager in with half team late back from euros and 3 key players out of contracts - I expected it to be a wait and see window where gets a good idea of the team and it be a development season where we just get top 4 (maybe win a cup). Club then know if we need a new RE/RB/CB next year, that plus the manager being in for a season and knowing what he needs.

I fully expect, assuming we get CL, with the additional CL money from this year and guarantee for next year, we would potentially go big.
