Only reason people aren't convinced by Slot yet is because he's not a big name signing. Everyone needs to be given a chance somewhere, just mattress it slightly higher risk that we're the ones giving him that opportunity.

I'm not convinced by him because I've never seen his teams play. Big name, small name, medium name... doesn't matter. (although I'd have more likely seen his teams play if big name)... I'm holding out judgement until I've seen how he does. That's holding off positive AND negative judgement.

So what will we all think if Trent's off to Real?

It would be a shame, especially with him being a local and vice captain, but I don't see him as irreplaceable. He's a good player, but it does solve the headache of where to place him so defence doesn't suffer.

I think it would be a shame for several reasons. 1. Real Madrid <doh> 2. He's a season or two off being the captain of his boyhood club 3. I'm interested to see where Slot plays him 4. Didn't have him down for leaving at our time of need

I think he'll sign a new contract and be flattered that he was good enough for Real and they wanted him (despite what we think of them).

@moreinjuredthanowen will be upset again

New Ireland coach has said below about kelleher.

Of course [he need to move], especially when he showed everyone that he can play at the highest level.
“It would be a shame if he's not playing regularly after he has already shown everyone how good he is, the level he played at.”

Yup
Mediocre no mark mouthing.

Exactly the same scenario as Williams, and I'd expect kellher will never win a thing again if he moved with the profile of club looking at him

I'd be perfectly happy make that no.mark coach happy by selling kelleher as I really don't think he's quite as good at the basics as he should be

On trent if he wants to be the next Owen fire away.

I'd be delighted to get a big fee as I think genuinely he's gone off the boil and doesn't get up and down his line.

If he wants to be just another player and get racial abuse to follow bellingham then fire away.

But do not be shocked to be a firm rb and nothing else and be expected to so the work he usually isn't arsed to do now.

Anchelotti would slaughter him for some of his stuff.

I'd be perfectly happy the bradley and a new cm for the money

Take the scouse factor out and this wouldn't even be a problem

Have lfc already signed the players i want?

Cb - van den Berg. 6' 4"
No 6 - morton. Barely 5'10"
Rw - Gordon doesn't matter remember the rulz

Where does Carvalho play?

For someone else probably.

I haven't even figured it out yet., someone's off the left sometimes as a 10.

Our loans have been quite odd as leipzig play a really narrow formation and had a player ahead of him anyway do why they even wanted him I don't know.

Then we got him to hull and they played him as a 9 alomost cos they got injuries.

We will see what slot does with him as its wide open

I'm thinking these forgottens may be our 'new' signings.

Here's a nice one for mito to mull over - Dean Huijsen - Juventus - CB - 6'5" . Being described as Liverpool's Yoro alternative.
The Yoro thing is interesting, many thought he would be RM bound regardless of who else was sniffing around.
Apparently RM would only go up to £25m, MU lay out £52m rising to £59m with a wage rising year on year and a promise of game time.

Watch this space.....
