I think he will know what he wants. It’s not like he hasn’t seen this team play to know where the weaknesses (and strengths) are. I haven’t seen Frimpong play and wondered whether he looks a good fit - to us fans.Given that Slot will not have the benefit of seeing half his team for a while yet, I’m not sure that anyone really knows what we will need in his preferred system. Frimpong is very different to TAA. More a winger converted to FB so loves to get forward. Scored and assisted shed load from rwb last year. Would offer serious pace

To be fair... Other than his origin story that sounds pretty similar to TAA. But who would you play in a cup final with both available?
I don't mind Slot having difficult choices to make... But there's positions I see as more critical.

Tbh I had to go to the match report to check whether or not he was playing or whether I’d just not noticed him

He’s a kid. Seen some clips and looks like lives a dribble and quick feet. Seems comfortable using both feet as well which is encouraging at that age.
Very highly rated - along similar way Musiala was so if turns out anything like him very encouraging. Apparently massive coup if we do get him so encouraging that the faith shown in youth already at the club is helping to attract other top talent.
Remains to be seen if that youth ability translates into first team though. Hopefully he’s more sterling than Pacheco
