What if no one buys Mbappe?

At million squid a week, you're pretty much limited to state sponsored clubs, either middle eastern oil clubs. City already have a magnifying glass held over them... Wouldn't want to be an ant at the Etihad because you'd burn up.

Real, sure they seem limitless funds at times but look at Barca's "financial struggles". Pretty much France is the only European league who don't care how badly you break financial boundaries. Could he be forced to stay at PSG because quite frankly, no one else can afford his silly wages... Or could he just retire?

A few clubs might offer him slum wages at half a million a week, but why would he slum it up like that?

He wants to leave PSG. His contract is over... But I wonder if he actually can leave. No one else will pay him those stupid wages. I supposed he could also go to Everton or Nottingham Forest.

we are debating how a footballer couldn't be paid 52million a year before fees and agents etc.

if very sure that if he was actually good enough (he's not) real would easily make thst work over 5 years.

260million investment to get him.in so they only need to break even on this

I wish I hadn't signed for Liverpool - I only joined them because I was wrecked
Joe Cole has revealed all about leaving Chelsea in 2010 and why he wouldn't have chosen to join Liverpool if he had his time again
I wish I hadn't signed for Liverpool - I only joined them because I was wrecked - Liverpool Echo

can he had back the 100k a week he stole then please.

what does he think he should have done in 2010 exaclty, cos i am not reading yet another in a long line of "player regret" articles doing the rounds.

someone seems to be going looking for quotes recently off every player who left LFC, failed to join LFC and now players who didn't work out at LFC. Its a long litany of click bait articles about players and why i don't know.

not half as much as wished we hadn't signed him . apart from a period under Mourinho he was always a spoofer more interested in doing flashy "skills" than playing real football .

I read (some of) it for you.
Click-bait headline.
He wasn't really disparaging about Liverpool - he said it's a great club, a global institution, etc - it's just that he wanted to stay at Chelsea but he knew his knee would never be right again. He said he should have gone to play somewhere warmer than stay in Britain, because the heat helped the condition.
As for your last sentence - it fills up space.

almost all of these recent stories have been as such, someone is going about interviewing ex or never were reds players.

I wonder if other clubs are getting this treatment. Its getting a bit dull tbh.

We're top of the league, therefore flavour of the month.
If you just remember that hacks get paid for words then it's understandable that they'll jump on any opportunity to spew some out. Interviews are the journo's equivalent of cheap "reality" telly. They don't even have to think of something to write.

I read it too, degree of hindsight on it all too imo

Bit harsh. He was a very good player in his prime.
