I'm absolutely amazed that people still think ffp is a thing.

It's a dead idea, the city's and Chelsea of this world know its dead, they can do what they want. If anybody raises an objection it will be a fine, which considering they don't care about money is pointless, but does allow for a bigger Christmas party for who ever receives it I suppose.

Should only be Tropical Storm when it reaches us, and I think the path is now going a little south of us... still, North and West of storm is where most rain is, so we'll probably have places flooded around here (we usually do), including the street at the bottom of the hill below our driveway. Got all our 5 gallon jugs topped off with water (and the bathtub) in case power goes out. (power goes out our well can't pump water) - got the chainsaw batteries fully charged to clear up any fallen trees, plenty of shelf stable food, all loose stuff outside has been secured. We're as prepared as we can be. <ok>

What about the beer?

Amrabat one seems very odd. Now saying United couldn’t afford the 30m fee cos of ffp.

After all the hype about him after Wc and what is a relatively cheap price makes you wonder why clubs aren’t moving for him unless it is all hype and the scouting of a lot of clubs haven’t seen anything that makes him stand out

the utd stuff is really funny

like as if the glaziers have pulled the plug pending sale or whatever.

hojlund 70mil?
Mount 60mil
onana 50mil

thats 180mil out.

elanga 15mil
Fred 7mil
kovar 4mil
telles 4mil
about 30 recouped.

so that's 150 mil on the wrong players.

I suppose some form of ffp might be in play but they did buy.mount.before July 1?

last year though they spent over 200mil.

all this does is reinforce that Chelsea antics are a complete dodge

Talk of around £30mmfor Gravenberch. Seems a lot given they signed him for £20m and he’s barely played. Not sure how his value has increased by 50%

He's not very good.

In a possession based team, he will be found wanting. If he's playing for a lesser team which defends deep and just want to hoof the ball away, then he's solid at it. Not good enough for us IMO.

It reminds me of when people used to say Harry Maguire was a top class centre back when in reality, he's quite limited and only suits a team that defends in a deep block. Put him in a higher line with more space to cover and more responsibility on the ball, he's painfully average.

market inflation.

what chelsea are gambling on

Yeah, kind of feel like prices are about 50% higher than they were just a year ago... and also end of window market dynamics. If you're selling and have to sell- you won't get much. If you're buying and the other guy doesn't have to sell, you're going to pay more.

Seems Bayern want to sell so they can get Palhinha from Fulham

yeah, he really is a hard sell by agent. I cannot see him or doucoure being klopp men.

conor Bradley reports are surfacing as stress fracture in his back so won't be seen til Christmas.

gomez will be full time rb.

no other options out there.
